Why I built Glaize
I grew up in Lebanon, completely inspired by my glamorous mum, who always had perfectly painted nails. From her, I learnt how something as simple as nice nails can change how you feel - polished, put-together, confident.
Years later, working long hours in finance, I realised I was constantly choosing between two things: nails that looked good and time I actually had. I barely had time to paint them myself, let alone keep up with salon appointments.
And when I did make it to the salon, it often came with compromises I wasn't comfortable with - UV exposure, harsh ingredients and removal that left nails thinner than before.
That's when I remember thinking: there has to be a better way.
That's where the idea for Glaize began.

We built Glaize because nail care shouldn't come with compromises. Not time, not damage, not results.
So we set our own standards from day one - and we keep raising them.

Creating a long-lasting stick-on manicure that's made from real gel, looks like real gel, and doesn't need curing on the nail is no small job.
We spent over two years developing our formulations. And we still evolve them - improving performance, incorporating new bio-based ingredients, and refining the details based on real customer feedback.
It took around 1,000 attempts to get it right.

Our gels are ethically manufactured in our own UK factory, with our own in-house formulation chemist. That means we're not just producing a product - we're continuously improving it.

Putting the care in nail care
Glaize has always been about more than just good nails.
We donate a portion of our sales to causes we care deeply about - including initiatives supporting Lebanon, Gina's home country.
We're also working to improve every part of the brand over time - from the materials we choose, to how we package and produce our products. The nail industry hasn't always set the highest bar here, so we focus on practical changes that reduce waste and lower our impact. Our gel formulation is partially bio-based, and we continue to refine it with every iteration.
